Central & East Sutherland Church of Scotland

Welcome to Our Parish

Central and East Sutherland Church of Scotland spans some of the most dramatic Highland scenery including beautiful beaches and harbours in Brora and Helmsdale to the hills, lochs and glens around Lairg and Rogart. Brora Clyne Church has been linked for many years to the Helmsdale Bunillidh Church and from 2025 Lairg and Rogart Churches joined to form the new Parish.

Our congregations are rural in nature with an eclectic mix of crofting families, local trades and professionals that extends a warm and friendly Highland welcome to all who visit. As a congregation we strive to be as welcoming and inclusive to all and to try to follow the teachings of Jesus in the way we support and care for one another and others.

Our vision is to draw closer to God and to each other, so that, through us, He can make known to all people the joys and challenges of following Jesus.
